Clown Purge Sydney Warning - Don't Leave Children Alone During Trick Or Treating

By October 30, 2018

For Parents in Sydney taking their children trick or treating this Halloween, police have warned not to let children out of your sight during trick or treating after Clown Purge Sydney announced plans to terrorise Sydney families once again on Halloween, 31 October.

Police in NSW have said that they don’t expect any serious trouble, however, Parents should be aware of the threat to ensure the safety of wellbeing of their child.

Parents should be aware of their children's whereabouts or should take them trick or treating during Halloween night. It's encouraged to remain in familiar areas within your neighbourhood, stick to a planned route and always cross the road at designated lights and crossings.

The clown craze originated in America in 2016 and quickly gained traction in Australia, with a number of incidents being reported across the country.
