Parents Can Claim $1000 For Basic Dental For Toddlers To Teens

The Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS), provides access to a range of benefits for children aged 2 17 years including examinations, x rays, cleaning, fissure sealing, fillings, root canal and extractions.

Eligible children will have access to a benefit cap of $1000 over a 2 year period.

To be eligible a child must be aged between 2 and 17 years and their family must receive Family Tax Benefit Part A or a relevant Australian Government payment (such as Medicare), the family gets certain payments for at least 1 day of the calendar year.
